Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is taken for entry into a college.  The test consists of the SAT I and the SAT II.

The SAT I is a three-hour test that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning skills.  Colleges and universities use the SAT as one indicator of a student's readiness to do college-level work.

The SAT II consists of subject tests, one-hour, mostly multiple-choice tests, that measure how much students know about a particular academic subject and how well they can apply that knowledge.
